Overview :
Renewal of existing sewer pipeline in Pohara, Golden Bay. This contract involved deep excavation in wet "running" sands requiring shoring, dewatering and sedimentation control of dewatered discharge. The replacement pipeline was located in TDC carriageway and private properties.

Specific Scope :
  - Maintaining approximately 220m of live 150Ø sewer 'online' while replacing it with new 175Ø pipe.
  - Installing new manholes and connections.
  - Stream crossing to resource consent requirements.
  - Dewatering by well pointing and removal of sediment prior to discharge.
  - Trench shoring of deep excavations using our KS-100 shoring system.
  - Traffic management.
